Andy Oler is Associate Professor of Composition and Humanities and the Department Chair of Humanities and Communication at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL. He is the author of Old-Fashioned Modernism: Rural Masculinity and Midwestern Literature (LSU, 2019), and his scholarship has appeared in numerous peer-reviewed journals and collections. He is also the editor of “Literary Landscapes,” an online series published under the masthead of The New Territory magazine.
