About

I have 28 years of experience in applied Human-Computer Interaction in both industry and academia. Currently, I lead the Research in User eXperience (RUX) Lab. I previously served as a Professor and Coordinator of the Human Factors Psychology Doctoral Program at Wichita State University (WSU). I also directed the Software Usability Research Laboratory (SURL), an academic research consulting lab. My research interests include the study of user experience of a variety of products and systems, usability assessment methods, and mobile computing. I haveworked on many contracts from Fortune-100 companies to research the user experience and usability of a wide range of technology and consumer products.
