Dr. Chen is an expert in developing computational models for thermal systems of different kinds, including thermal management systems for high-power CPUs and batteries on electric vehicles. His current research focuses on the multiscale modeling with the Boltzmann equation, which could be a great solution for the multiscale thermal simulations in this project.
