About
Prior to earning her MLIS degree at Wayne State University in Detroit, Patricia Watkins spent two decades in the automotive industry as a marketingand advertising research consultant. After earning a BA degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, she practiced business and competitive intelligence and market research in Detroit (Creative Marketing Consultants), R.L. Polk, and in Boston (Arnold Worldwide Advertising) and Phoenix (Thunderbird School of International Management, International Business Information Center). Associate Director for Research Learning Services in the Hazy Library & Learning Center at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ. Lifelong passions include world history, political science, photography, travel, and hiking.
