My research foci include robotics & automation, unmanned systems, and advanced vehicle systems. Highlights among my past projects include: QinetiQ Raider II MCWL Ground Unmanned Support Surrogate (GUSS) Caterpillar Autonomous Mining 2007 DARPA Urban Challenge 2005 DARPA Grand Challenge. Additionally, I serve as an advisor to the Robotics Association at Embry-Riddle (RAER) and as the lead faculty advisor for the Embry-Riddle EcoEagles in EcoCAR2: Plugging in the Future.
