I am a founding member of the Game-Based Education and Advanced Research Studies (GEARS) lab. My focus in research is in using games and simulation to investigate human factors and psychological processes as well as game play behavior directly. Research areas of interest include escape rooms, attention allocation, cheating and ethics, virtual reality, gamification, and expertise.
