Abstract

The animation presents simulation results of ocean surface vertical displacements (to the left) and OH(3,1) vertically integrated volume emission rate perturbations (to the right) related to the case study of the 2006 M8.3 Kuril Earthquake and Tsunami and their impacts on the mesospheric airglow.
