Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates the role of integration strategies and supply chain in the success and failure of the mergers and acquisitions (M&A). The study used data from more than 100 M&A transactions in the Defense Industry during 2007 and 2008. Results show that performance and integration strategy are positively correlated but relationships between performance and supply chain relationships remains unclear.
