Abstract

Personnel in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (D & I) at the Daytona Beach campus work to mainstream into campus life diversity and inclusion elements that cause innovation, incremental change, and continuous improvement in civility. The converging psychographic essence of stakeholders (students, faculty, and staff) at Embry-Riddle creates a unique opportunity to explore diversity through leadership development, experiential learning, and social adaptation in a safe, positive, and nurturing environment. Inclusion is fostered through understanding, embracing, and celebrating the rich dimensions of diversity contained within individual stakeholders and their contributions to campus life.
