Abstract

Writing Commons is a peer-reviewed, open-access, online textbook and resource for students and teachers of college-level writing courses. I began working with Writing Commons in 2011 as an author, and after publishing seven pedagogical pieces, I stepped into the role of Assistant Editor of Technical Communication in 2014. Finally, in 2017, I was offered the opportunity to become the editor-in-chief for Writing Commons, where I have the pleasure of working with a variety of authors and review editors to continually provide high-quality educational resources for students and teachers of college writing.
